En un plazo de 10 dà ­as se recibir en casa la planilla solicitada. Ho Chi Minh meaning ‘enlightened one’ was born in Vietnam in the year 1890, to a teacher [Nguyen Sinh Huy] who was employed by the French. Nguyen had a reputation of being very bright and intelligent but he lost his job due his unwillingness to learn the French language, he was a strong nationalist. He taught his children to resist the ruling of the French; they all grew up to become strong nationalists who were willing and ready to fight for the independence of their country, Vietnam. Ho Chi Minh’s sister helped in stealing weapons when she was employed by the French government and sentenced to life imprisonment. Ho Chi Minh was sent to a French school by his father so as to prepare him for the struggle that was about to come against the rule of the French in their country Vietnam. After finishing his studies, he became a school teacher, then a sailor which really enabled him to travel to many countries in the world. By the travelling he made throughout the world , he was able to travel through other colonies of the Roman Empire and found out that the Vietnam’s were not the only ones who were suffering from their exploitation (Brocheux, 2007). Finally in the year 1917 Ho settled in Paris, reading books by different authors [Karl Marx] which were talking about communism eventually being turned into a communist himself. When the French Communist party was formed he became one of the founding members in the year 1920. He planned to take the teachings about communism that he had acquired so as to unite them and teach to the people of Vietnam, and also lead them to their own revolution from the French Empire (Shmoop, 2010). The Social Role of Women

If asked what is the social role of women? The most logical answer would be that of a mother, a nurturer. Someone else may say barefoot and pregnant but it all panned out to be the same thing, inferiority. Throughout the centuries, women such as Mary Wollstonecraft fought to change this gender stereotype. It is socially thought that women are inferior to men, which is still the case in many countries. A Vindication on the Rights of Women was written back in the 1700’s, where women were to be submissive to their husbands.Disobedience was not tolerated. The cooking, cleaning, and rearing of children was the main objective. Wollstonecraft pointed out in her writings her displeasure of the government, and how women were not allowed to participate in the political issues but were expected to abide by its laws. Women were poorly educated, but expected to educate their children. Therefore, children received poor educations [ (Wollstonecraft) ]. Even in this time; many women felt the woes of their confinement and wanted to be more socially accepted.Women played major roles in shaping this country. During the Civil War, women such as Sarah Emma Edmonds acted as nurses, Union and Confederate soldiers, and even spies [ (Wilson) ]. After the Civil War, it brought about significant change for women’s rights. Wollstonecraft wanted equal opportunity in the political policy as well as in the government. She wrote a letter to M. Talleyrand Perigord, Late Bishop of Autun, she states, â€Å"I plead for my sex not for myself, in calling upon you now to weigh what I have advanced respecting the rights of woman and national education†. (Wollstonecraft) ] Wollstonecraft demanded Perigord do an investigation on the Constitution, and when it is revised that women be included in the revised version. As we look at today’s social standards, we as women have come a long way. We now own businesses; we are in congress, and even running for President. I do believe that a woman would be able to run this country just as well as men. We are the backbones of our men without us they would not have gone as far as we have. We still have some obstacles to hurdle over.Now that we have broken out of the homes and into the workplace, we must now battle to be equally paid and acknowledged as that of men. She’s almost there.† â€Å"What is she doing?† Carlisle was asking, but I wasn’t paying attention to the discussion now. All my focus was on the picture that was painstakingly coming together in my head. I pictured Irina poised on the cliff, watching. What had she seen? A vampire and a werewolf who were best friends. I’d been focused on that image, one that would obviously explain her reaction. But that was not all that she’d seen. She’d also seen a child. I felt Edward kneel beside me, wrap his arms over us both. â€Å"But she’s wrong,† I went on. â€Å"Renesmee isn’t like those other children. They were frozen, but she grows so much every day. She met Carlisle’s gaze for the tiniest part of a second, and then looked down. â€Å"I can’t see.† â€Å"What was that?† Edward asked, his whisper a demand. â€Å"That part in the jungle. Are we going to look for them?† â€Å"I can’t see,† Alice repeated, not meeting his eyes. A flash of confusion crossed Edward’s face. â€Å"We’ll have to split up and hurry – before the snow sticks to the ground. We have to round up whomever we can and get them here to show them.† She zoned again. â€Å"Ask Eleazar. There is more to this than just an immortal child.† The silence was ominous for another long moment while Alice was in her trance. She blinked slowly when it was over, her eyes peculiarly opaque despite the fact that she was clearly in the present. â€Å"There is so much. He followed quickly, confusion in his eyes just like Edward’s. They darted out the door into the silver night. â€Å"Hurry!† she called back to us. â€Å"You have to find them all!† â€Å"Find what?† Jacob asked, shutting the front door behind himself. â€Å"Where’d Alice go?† No one answered; we all just stared. Jacob shook the wet from his hair and pulled his arms through the sleeves of his t-shirt, his eyes on Renesmee. â€Å"Hey, Bells! I thought you guys would’ve gone home by now___† He looked up to me finally, blinked, and then stared. I watched his expression as the room’s atmosphere finally touched him. He glanced down, eyes wide, at the wet spot on the floor, the scattered roses, the fragments of crystal. His fingers quivered. â€Å"What?† he asked flatly. â€Å"What happened?† I couldn’t think where to begin. No one else found the words, either. Jacob crossed the room in three long strides and dropped to his knees beside Renesmee and me.
